AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF  PROJECTS

Internet  projects between   classrooms should:

  1. build a positive relations between and among project partners.
  2. enrich the curriculum and contribute to academic objectives.
  3. strengthen students' cognitive and language skills.
  4. strengthen students' inquiry and problem solving skills.
  5. provide students with an opportunity to learn about and respect another culture.
  6. support students' understanding of the importance of collaboration and cooperation in learning.
  7. provide a contribution to existing knowledge.
  8. share their results through publication on the Web, print or other media.
  9. raise additional questions for further study and exploration.
  10. allow students to take appropriate action that will enhance their involvement in the project.
  11. provide students with a better understanding of technology and its uses.
  12. provide opportunities (beyond the project) for students to have their own questions asked and answered.
