AIMS AND
OBJECTIVES OF PROJECTS
Internet
projects between classrooms should:
- build a
positive relations between and among project partners.
- enrich the
curriculum and contribute to academic objectives.
- strengthen
students' cognitive and language skills.
- strengthen
students' inquiry and problem solving skills.
- provide
students with an opportunity to learn about and respect
another culture.
- support
students' understanding of the importance of
collaboration and cooperation in learning.
- provide a
contribution to existing knowledge.
- share their
results through publication on the Web, print or other
media.
- raise
additional questions for further study and exploration.
- allow students
to take appropriate action that will enhance their
involvement in the project.
- provide
students with a better understanding of technology and
its uses.
- provide
opportunities (beyond the project) for students to have
their own questions asked and answered.
