The Internet offers teachers a huge collection of resources to help link teachers to Web resources.  Below are some of the best education resource portals available for teachers.  Once you go to one of these sites, be sure to "bookmark" those sites  you find valuable for your work.

http://www.bigchalk.com  BigChalk Teacher Resources is an information portal hosting links to hundreds of sites for teachers, students, and parents.

http://www.kn.pacbell.com/wired/bluewebn/ Blue Web'n is a searchable database  of over 1000 outstanding Internet learning  sites categorized by  subject,  area,  audience, and type (lessons, activities, projects,  resources, references, & tools).   You can also browse the Content Table to find specific types of sites (i.e. "English References" or "Science Projects"). The Content Table shows the number of entries for each content area and application type so you can get a quick idea of the information depth before you look.
