1. To the Student: Find one adult male and one adult female respondent to interview. Tell them, "We are doing a study to find out which values are most important to our society".

 

2. Then say, "Look at the list of 15 values below and draw a circle around five values you think are among the most important." Hand the adult the list to look at and a pencil to circle 5 values.
