Welcome to SchoolLink's U.S. / Japan Project!

The goal of the US/Japan SchoolLink project is to promote and support inquiry-based, Internet projects between American and Japanese classrooms. We are also promoting better understanding and collaboration between the teachers and students of both countries.  The program is made possible through a grant from the United States-Japan Foundation and is housed at City College of New York's Center for School Development.

Teachers from all parts of the  U.S. and Japan were invited to  participate in this project. Please become familiar with the material on the site, contribute additional materials that you feel would be valuable. The project was directed by Prof. Norman Shaprio , Dr. Sheila Gersh and Ms. Rhoda Peltzer. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or comments.
